The village of Mustafapasa, in an unspoilt green backwater of Cappadocia, is surrounded by apricot orchards and cave dwellings.
On its main street, the Ukabeyn Lodge has been created from a restored cave house and even has its own Byzantine cave church. The seven rooms each have en suite facilities, telephone and radio but what makes it really special is the hospitality extended by Mehmet - your host.
The food
here is all organic and breakfast with home made bread, clotted cream, honeycomb
and fresh fruit is served on a the pretty walled terrace in the summer months
and in a naturally furnished cave room in the cooler months.
